Liftsafe recently designed and manufactured a custom 7.5 ton (15,000 lb) battery-powered transfer cart to support the safe and efficient movement of heavy materials within a manufacturing environment.

Engineered to meet the customer’s specific operational requirements, this steerable transfer cart features a 10′ x 6′ deck, wireless controls, variable speed drive technology, CSA approval, and an operating capacity of up to eight hours of continuous use. A backup battery system ensures uninterrupted operation and increased reliability.

Designed for indoor material handling applications, the transfer cart allows operators to safely transport heavy loads between workstations, fabrication areas, assembly cells, and storage locations while reducing the need for overhead lifting and forklift traffic.
